Keying Area
The format for entering a QSO into the keying area is as follows:
- Callsign: if “ZL” is ticked, omit this and start with the number i.e. 1AA
- Exch: by default this is set to 59
- Sent: this is an uneditable field, the top number increases by 1 for each contact you log, while the bottom number reflects your NZART branch code (00 for home branch)
- Exch Received: signal report (2char), their log number (3char), /, branch number (2char) For example: 59023/02 means a 5-9 signal report, 023 contact number, from branch 02. (Please note for an eligible non-ZL callsign, only a signal report and log number are required)
- Name/Cmnt: can be left blank
